I have zyxel p-600 series router and i managed to connect to internet via cable (wired).then internet works on my ubuntu 10.04 but only when i write sudo dhclient in terminal. then internet works but i want to connect it via wireles. I went to router setings and set up wireless. I set wep securyrty i manage to conect zyxel and my laptop with network manager and it is connected but i cant go to internet. Mozzile firefox cant open any page. can you tell me what to do??

if you only have usb connection in your modem, internet on the zyxel router will not work since it's using ethernet connection. in order for your zyxel device to work with tiscali, you will need a cable/dsl router that has ethernet connection as well. you can contact tiscali if they can provide you with that kind of modem.

Disable the network adapters on the laptop via device manager and then enable again. If this does not work reinstall the network drivers and see whether it helps.

When you defined the name for Wireless connection with you new router, did you give it a new name? If this is a case then you can delete the old name in your available wireless network list in your lap top so it won't go back to the default one which is the old one, then you are all set.
