My transcend 8gb pendrive is not working. when i

My transcend 8gb pendrive is not working. when i insert, it shows that a hardware is installed and ready to use. but when i try to open it it shows "Please insert a disk into drive D:" when i click on properties it shows 0bytes. is it harware problem? how it can be solved?

Hi, try to format the Pendrive and run scandisk command.
right click on pendrive > properties> choose format and when format is finish use check disk.

Do one thing download the transsend s/w from website and try to formate the pendrive

Otherwise instal the USBDISK andi virus and delete the some file from that pendrive.

plug in your flash drive then go to device manager then universal serial bus controllers expand it ..you will see usb mass storage device right click in it and select uninstall now remove your flash drive and restart your system ..now plugin flash drive.... this time it will detect your flash drive and.. i think branch is in panjagutta, ameerpat...in secundrabad it is in jagdish market at abids and chenoy tradecentre mg road parklane..if some how you get to properties box try to format with ntfs system....goodluck

Make sure there is no dust in the USB slot your inserting your pendrive into.

Transcend pendirve of 8gb

your pendrive is infected with Autorun.inf virus
to remove this virus install malwarebytes and scan your whole system as well as your pendrive

If the above method is not work

try to format in other operating system like vista or in 7
but not in xp because in vista and 7 you can force format your pendrive..

Your pendrive is infected with Autorun.inf virus
