Replace or have replaced the Audio board in the set----a lot of them fail.

My brother had this problem too I think it happen when u have been using the pa3 with a non hd tv and then switch to a hd tv, try hooking it up to a normal (older) tv to change the resolution to sd (standard definition) then hook it back up to a hd tv and it should put up a message saying it's detected a hd source and prompts u to change it. Tries the PS3 with another tv?Make sure is not the PS3.Tries go into the tv menu to do tv audio resetting,so it can go back to factory setting,see if that make the PS3 it responses.

This problem with the T240 (t240M or T240 HD depending on the coutry) monitor on Windows 7 and maybe on Vista
is due to Samsung´s driver witch is not updated to Win 7. You will have to lower your video
resolution to 1600X1024 (higher resolution accepted) be able to use your monitor. Unfortunately it will not work on Full HD mode on Win 7,
until Samsung releases an updated driver for win7.
I had the exact same problem here and found this information together with the samsung people.
As yet they have no idea when the needed update will be available. Hope soon, till then no Full HD resolution for us.

try these options:

1. try adjusting the main volume of your digital output(tab) under your hd audio manager.

2. try changing your cable(s).

is there anything else hooked up to your tv other than cable or satellite? if no other components (dvd, vhs, etc) then you will get a snowy screen because the other inputs are for other components that are hooked up. a picture is showing on the HD input because you have cables hooked into that input.

Yes there is a simple solution. First, for some reason., Time Warner cable boxes have SERIOUS HDMI issues, including no pic, intermittent pic and sound and the one that you are having. The easy fix is to hook the TV to the cable box using the component connections instead of the HDMI. Normally I would suggest getting the cable box replaced, but I have seen customers exchange cable boxes 3 or 4 times and still have the problem or have a new problem. Yes there is. You can buy an HD Disc player. There is two types out there, HD and Bluray. I would recommend Bluray because it seems like HD DVDs are falling off. So buy a Bluray player and Bluray discs instead of traditional DVDs, traditional DVDs will not put out in HD. Also, if you have cable, get an HD receiver and you can pick up the special HD channels.
