GSA tv remote

The BN59-00599A remote was included with several Samsung TV models, including the FP-T5084. While it can be used to control some other devices in your home theater system, it doesn't have codes for other TVs. The section on setting the remote for DVD players, VCRs and other devices starts on page 20.

I wish that I had better news for you. To control the Bush TV, look for a generic universal remote that was programmed more than 6 months after the TV was manufactured. (Not all remotes will list codes for Bush TVs, however the code for another brand may work.)

Try unplugging the TV from the power source for several seconds. Also, pour new batteries in your remote.

Since it is from RCA you should try one RCA generic remote or RCA codes listed on generic remotes. There is no special model code for old TVS, only the brand and the options each generic remotes give for RCA tv will be enough.

It would help to know the model number of your LG TV. However, you can try the generic codes for LG which I've listed here:

Rev 8 remote: 1293, 1206, 0206, 0065, 0904
Rev 6 remote: 0065, 0742, 0502, 0672, 0634, 0136,
Rev 4 remote: Same as Rev 6
RC1600/00 remote: codes not available and unlikely to work with your TV

Try these codes but if they don't work, please post back with your TV model number. It's possible that your remote does not have a code which will work with your TV, in which case, you will need to use the remote supplied with your TV to control volume and power functions. Unfortunately, when a TV is newer than the remote and uses a new flash pattern not programmed into that remote, the remote wont work. However manufacturers often keep the same flash patterns for common functions, so the generic codes might work for you.

I'm informed that a new Sky remote version is due but I've not been able to confirm this yet.

i have bought 2 differnet ATT remotes but they onlu work if I/m an inch from the box..I have a Tosiba flat screen. tech said the infrared remote was getting inteference he sai try an RF remote i did same problem,,help

Go here, http://www.remotecodelist.com/remotes/ look-up your brand remote scrolling down through all the differetn manufacturers - then click on link for what component it is you're looking up a code for and it should open a new page. Then look up the model and several codes should be listed...
