Have you tried to call the phone and adjust the volume on the set while the call is coming in? I think the only way you can adjust the ringer volume is if the phone is ringing.

Nortel t7613e can't ring again

When you call an internal extension and the extension is either busy or ringing, you can invoke the Ring Again (Call Back) feature. If Ring Again is activated when the dialed extension is ringing, you will be notified when there is activity on the phone and the phone becomes idle. You cannot use this feature on outside lines, and while your phone is idle.

How do i inrease the number of rings

Don't know if this will work, but try the 983 feature, pw 1020000 (or 120000, or 10020000, depending on your extension numbering). Access the Mailbox menu. "Show" thru the menu until you get to "forward to" ###, then next. This should ask for delay. (to est time in seconds, multiply the number of rings by 6)
