Epson C45 printer only print out yellow color.

When I print out an image or text with image, the only color that comes out is yellow. So even if the image has blue or red colors, only yellow appears on the print out. Thanks for your help. pieces54

Run a maintenance clean on it

r click on the printer icon go to properties, then seek the maintenance tab on the header of the print queue and run both clean and nozzle check. When all of colors print the problem is fixed.

In colder times leaving printer in ON mode keeps ink from hardening and blocking jets

Epson stylus d45 prints purple images the yellow ink wnt come out

You have done most of the required DIY but I feel that two more things can be tried out. First of all you can reinstall after removing the sofware from your PC. there after connect the C45 and try to see if the fault changes. If not we have to suspect the head and since you had tried the maintenance and head cleaning which is inbuild in this model . You will have to think of the cost of an head assembly to the cost of a new model of epson. If not try to use it printiing all your documents till the ink runs out and decide. Hope my advice helps. Good day

How can i use epson stylus c45 without black ink its urgent plz

If this is a color printer, then you cannot use it without the "Black" cartridge.

Most printer manufacturers will pull from the "Black" ink to print black on color images. They do this to save on creating a "processed black" from the color inks.

Just curious, are you using a "CMYK" system? (Cyan, Magenta,Yellow and Black inks)

My epson c45 not printing the exact colors that is

I suppose that you have cleaned the heads to eliminate any clogging. In that case the Printer cartridges were probably refilled in the wrong order. Try using a new one and post again if it's the same.

Epson stylus c45

epson.com, actually you can print using black ink only, but you have to reset the color ink for it to register as full. :) or you can freeze the ink counter using the ssc service utility before the other ink rans out. :)

Ink

Epson ink jet printers require all of the ink cartridges to have ink in them in order to print any color, black and white, or grayscale images. Epson printers contain a permanent print head that needs to be charged with all colors to work. Even when users are printing black text only, a small amount of color ink is used to keep the print head charged for color printing and prevent air bubbles from entering the color print nozzles which can damage the print head. Therefore, once one of the cartridges are expended, the printer signals you to replace the cartridge in order for printing to continue.
