I bought a Disney High School Musical Mix It Plug In 2 years ago and have never used it. When I now try to install the CD on my computer it requires Windows Media Player 10 but I have version 11. I am worried if I install the old version of the WMP I will stop the current version from working. I think I need to upgrade my CD so it will need the new version of WMP. What should I do ? Where can I get a new install disk ?
SOURCE: how do you put music on a Disney Mix Max (512 MB) Digital Media Player
I have Windows Vista and the first time I plugged in the Mix Max it immediately downloaded the device drivers. I opened my Windows Media Player and it already recognized the player. I just transferred songs over walla they are on the player. Hope that helps.

The Mix Stick will show up as a removable disk in your 'My Computer' icon or in 'Computer' if you have Vista. You can then open that Removable Disk and drag and drop songs to it or you can use the 'Sync' function in Windows Media Player.
A manual can be found here...

I solved this problem by using WME (Windows Media Encoder) per Digital Blue's website to re-encode the video, however, instead of choosing 220x176, I chose pocket pc widescreen in the new session wizard. This is found on the encoding options page in the video drop down box. This changed the video size to 320x240. Suprisingly, this worked.

Hi,
Please confirm what operating system your computer runs (like Windows XP or Vista). Also, confirm if you are looking for its drivers or some other special software.
If your system is running Windows XP or Vista, you can simply plug the device in and it will automatically appear in Start > My Computer (or Computer). You can then simply drop your music files (such as MP3s) straight onto the device.
With regards.
