Why is red light on with green - Epson Stylus Multifunction Inkjet Printer/ Copier/ Scanner

Two red lights generally indicate hardware failure. Two green lights indicate two controllers are connected. Both green and red lights will not be lit at the same time. Count how many times the red light flashes and how many the green light flashes.If its 1 green and 1 red thats water problems.If 2 flashes of red light check filter is clear and pump is free to turn.

1) Green On, Red Off = Printer Ready.
2) Green Fast-Flashing, Red Fast-Flashing = Printer warm up.
3) Green Fast-Flashing, Red Off = Printer off-line.
4) Green Slow-Flashing, Red Off = Processing Data.
5) Green Off, Red On = Cover Opened, Toner Empty or Developer Unit / Drum unit missing.
6) Green Off, Red Fast-Flashing = Paper Jam or waiting for jam reset.
7) Green Off, Red Slow-Flashing = Paper Empty or Paper tray is not inserted.
8) Green Off, Red Off = Printer power is off.

Are you sure its green red green red or is it green orange green orange?


Because according to apple, it doesnt have a sequence for green red green red..... either way, you can see what the different lights mean here..

If a paper jam occurs while printing, the printer notifies it by the following combination of the four indicators. Remove the
jammed paper . After removal, open and close the top cover once to initialize the jam sensing

Then I'd say it's a reasonably sure thing that the green light is just burned out, The lights are supposed to be off at first, then red when there's a partial charge, then green when there's a full charge, then flashing between red and green when the "battery saver" kicks in. If you're seeing off, then red, then off, then flashing red, then that means everything in the charging circuit is working perfectly, there's just no green light.
