Hello and Welcome to FixYa! Paper jam means their may be small bit paper jam in side, actually there are some "micro sensors" that detect a paper
jam. There will be tiny piece of paper inside those
sensors, thus tripping the sensor and paper jammed keeps coming up. To solve this first of all Open printer cover and check to make sure no paper or foreign objects obstructing the printer feeder, If you become sure that now really there is no paper, dust or foreign objects thenTurn the printer off, and disconnect the AC power-cable. Open the printer cover & now give the printer a "blow-job" by compressed air. If still problem exist then best & final option is to just contact to any Canon Printers service provider. I hope this solution helps you Thank you for using FixYa!

hi, CANON PIXMA MP160 All-In-One InkJet Printer has few common problems. Such as Driver CD lost, Scanner does not work, Connection problem etc. For find all these software solution just click here....
if the paper is crooked it will come out wrinkled. If not the print is crooked indicating a different problem.
You wil have to look at the paper as it is printing, to see where it is catching, paper ramp maybe ( before the fuser entrance), exit rollers? ( only place I know there are bristles)
E3 is : paper jam in fuser
also check fingers or claws on fuser they catch the paper if worn.
Sorry, dont know why my posts keeps coming up as guest and not my name (which is Garty)
i had but its maybe worth a try. My paper went in a little, the wheels were turning but it didn't take the rest of the paper or print.
someone replied to my problem, i tried it and its fixed 1st time, also seems to of worked for some others. Solution:- Use a piece of thin card, a magazine cover is what i used, make sure its A4 size then try to print something, as the paper starts moving PUSH it through! and hey presto it worked for me, everything printing fine now
