Sound When a DVD is played through it, it is not loud enough. The volume is turned all the way up to 63, but it is not loud enough for the class to hear. Any suggestions?

Connect the projector to an external amplifier and speakers.
The speaker system built in is designed for watching movies etc in a small quiet room.

Hope that helps =)

If you are using a box for signal it is possible sound is turned down on it---also check to see if sound is loud enough when a DVD etc is played via the rear audio/video inputs.

The sound on the device is too low!

Often it is to do with the kind of sound that is being outputted by the DVD player. If the sound for example is set to produce dolby 5.1 and you don't have a suitable decoder it will be very low.
Check the sound settings of both your DVD player and sound system.

Volume not loud enough

Actually there is a way. If you re-encode the file using an mp3 conversion utility, you can adjust the volume there
