I changed the bulb on the Sharp xr-32x and it still says replace bulb now it has turned to red icon in corner and cuts off is there some type of reset for the projector after you change the lamp?

If the native resolutions and the body styles are the same it should work.

my lg325 projector when switched on shows power and ready light but lamp

Got our projector looked at and the technician said it was the ballister. Said it would cost $659 to fix.

It is more than likely a cable problem. If you using a vga cable try replacing it, if not there is something wrong internally in the projector.

the colorwheel motor bearings are starting to go. you'll need to replace the colorwheel. you can get the part from a sharp service center and do it yourself or send it to one for repair. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

replacement of the color wheel is only solution, unfortunately, it is expensive.

if it's an xr-32x (as it shows on this pic), it's a dlp projector, not an lcd. therefore no green filter. it has only a colorwheel and a dmd chip to affect the color. if it's not an xr-32x, and it's an lcd projector, replace the green filter. sharp sells the parts for the optical engine. but if it was your service tech that did it, have them replace it.

Your receiver is sensing the video source. Try using optical, or coaxial digital audio for an input, this may work.

Hey, XR10S and XR10SL is the same. The Lamp is SHP93 if for Replacement.
