My hardware dvd cannot find macth driver in my pc, so what i have to do?

Strange but... go to your hardware and delete the cd\dvd-r. restart the computer. There wil be a message that new hardware has been found. It will check for drivers or ask you to give the driver cd. Than it will work again

Go to control panel. Press install new hardware. The hardware wiz. will search and identify DVD then it will ask you search for drivers online. Press yes. You wait and you may have to restart the computer after it gets the drivers off the web.

i think you have the motherboard to rom drive cable problem, plz change your cable and try again....

well it's possible that your cd-rom actually is just permanently malfunctioning, i've seen it numerous times (i repair pc's and laptops for a living) the driver should automatically load using windows. the only driver i can find for the optical drive is for dos and people using win 3.1

Go to HP's support website, find your laptop, and get the missing driver, or find out what brand your cd/dvd drive is and go to the manufacturers website to get the driver. I hope this helps!

Check in your device manager
For XP, Start/Control panel/Performance Maintance/System/Hardware/Device Manager, go to CD/DVD, click on the + sign for the CD/DVD in question, right mouse the CD/DVD and go to properties, then check to see if this is working properly and also is this device enabled. If all of this is good, try updating the driver for this hardware.
If there is a problem with any of the hardware in device manager there will be flag by the hardware item. It could be that the driver is bad or missing or a variety of things.
If your using Vista go to Start/Control panel/device manager
If you cant find any problems in device manager and cant update the driver then the unit might be bad.

go to my computer> properties>hardware > device manager >universal bus driver>right click on it> update driver>
then1 
1.yes this time only> next 2.choose advanced option>next 3don't search i"ll update from........>next4.click on show campatible> next> next 5. now it updated then restart you computer

Go to your "Device Manager" (Right click on ‘My Computer', select 'Properties', click the 'Hardware' tab, click the 'Device Manager' button. Click the "DVD/CD-ROM drives"). If there is some kind of a "Warning" icon superimposed on the 'DVD drive' icon there is your problem!
Uninstall the DRIVERS for THAT DEVICE only.
Click on the faulty device and hit the remove button, follow the instructions given by the program.
Shutdown, restart, the device will automatically reinstall by the "Found New Hardware" program.
