We have a Coleman roof unit a/c on our RV. We are going to be replacing it and we're not sure what the btu's are. We are thinking 13,500. The model no. is 6759-707. Can anyone tell us what the btu's are and can we replace that with a 15,000 btu unit? I'm not sure what actual model it is. Coleman Mach 15 a/c was the only category available in order to submit this question. Thanks!

Btu of coleman 7830-901

That should be a 30,000 Btu unit. Its been a while since I worked on them. The 78 is the series or model, the 30 is the capacity or btu's and the 901 indicates it is a Copeland compressor.

What model number Dometic AC unit to add to RV?

You can use Dometic Brisk Air II model for your RV. It has 13,500 BTU capacity. I used this air conditioning unit for last 2 years on my RV truck. If you want to know more about this unit, you can check this link. https://coolingmyrv.com/

Need to know the BTU's of a coleman rv roof air.

The limiting factor is the power available to run the device. Typically, roof air units are around 12,000 BTU.

Unless your rig is wired with a 50 amp service, you will not be able to run more than you have at the present with your 30 amp service. I have found that a rig with a microwave, a roof AC and a TV frequently cannot run all three at the same time. If you do have 50 amp service, you can add the second roof air. Also, if you have a 30 amp service, you can upgrade to 50 but that is an expensive proposition with the cord itself costing around $200.00. You would also have to upgrade the distribution panel and probably have a pro properly split up the load between the two 120 Volt AC buss'.

I hope this response helps you with your deliberation and thanks for your question @ FixYa.com

Compressor trie to start, but don't.

Capacitor is good place to start, once you confirm you have proper voltage getting to the unit.

Coleman Mach III 13,500 btu ducted roof air conditioner

Did you plug upper unit (on roof) into lower control unit (inside). Not to insult you, because i've done it myself, in a rush situation. Breaker on? Sure you didn't mix up any wiring?
