Error 105 is a DNS resolution error. - Which means when you enter the URL of the website and hit enter in Google chrome, it tries to resolve the IP address of the website using a protocol called DNS (Domain Name System). If chrome is unable to reach the DNS server, the name resolution fails and you get the error 105.

Webpage display issues: "This webpage is not available" (Network errors 2, 102, 104, and 105) Issue This message displays when Google Chrome is unable to find and load the requested web page.
Solutions Check your web address and Internet connection Double-check the URL in the address bar to make sure you're going to the right web address. If you've confirmed that you're going to the right web address, check whether you can open the same web page in another browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. If you can't see the web page in any browser, the web page may be temporarily down. You should also make sure you're properly connected to the Internet.
Check the error you're receiving If you can load the web page using another browser, but not Google Chrome, check the exact error you're getting by clicking the More information on this error link on the page. To disable the proxy run this from the command line or modify your shortcut to run chrome:

"C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --proxy-server

Encountering this problem following your first restart after installing Privoxy (which requires changing G-Chrome's proxy settings).
If, after installing Privoxy, you elected not to have it load on system startup, manually re-loaded Privoxy. Simply reconfigure Privoxy to load on startup and the problem should be corrected.

I have same problem plz help

hi
error 105 (net err_Name _not_resolved )
is a compatibilty issue of google chrome with windows vista .
google is still working on this issue.
thier is no problem with your computer.
Google will soon try to realese a patch for this

this common error comes when the google chrome is not able to resolve the DNS with your ISP

I will explain you how and what excalty happenes when u try to look for any webpage through your browser like google chrome ,ie,firefox etc

when you try to type www.fixya.com then your browser convert these words into a particular number as computer and the server reads number.this conversion of words into a number is done by feature called DNS and since your google chrome is not able to convert it into a numbers you are getting this problem

i would once again say that this not your computer issue .this is the issue with the google chrome and soon the google will try to release a patch for it .
