It appears that the water is not getting to the ice maker. Water is getting the "part" at the bottom of the refrigerator but does not seem to be moving up. My refrig model is RT18AKXKQ and the part # that I am referring to is "model 70, MOPD 150 psi, 2210436. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

if you are having tempurature issues make sure the fan in the freezer is operating. it should be on when the compresor is running. this may explain both warm fridge and no ice.

First give me the entire model # on the sticker from the inside of the fridge and I can definitely help you with this. Let's solve it before you rate it.

SOURCE: the ice maker on our GE refrigerator does not make ice
1 -Ice maker arm must be down(on position)2-Make sure the water supply line is connected to the fridge3Check if the ice maker is plugged in4The freezer must be working fine for the ice maker to produce ice. After the ice maker stars and calls for water and doesn't get any , the water valve is bad.And if everything above is ok the ice maker needs to be replaced.

Remove white plastic cover on ice maker. On bottom you will notice the heater connections, check for voltage. If good, heater is most likely bad.
