Better than your Intel Pentium D, model 805 you have now?

you can't directly blame to mother board. so first thing you can try is to reset your BIOS. to rewet the Bios you can locate the CMOS battery on your board and remove it for 10-20seconds . or you can see any jumper near the CMOS bateery and reset it. in most of the case mother board works when you reset the BIOS by doing the above process.
And if you can arreage another RAM then you can try with other RAM. I hope it'll work for you.

Are you not able to log onto the mother board bios or is it the operating system. Windows?
If it is Windows, here is a way to get your password (s) back. This program will find every password and users on your computer system, no matter how many there are.
This program is by far the best I know of and have tried and used it a number of times, saving a lot of hours.
Download the program ophcrack, and then make a cdrom which will be self-bootable with a small Linux version OS. It will not disturb your hard drive, it does not need to have Windows running at all. It is a great program! : ophcrack

Unplug all cards and in case uninstalled the grafik card.
Then check your memory modules.
If one module is defective or it has contact problems you will get no display and a beep.
I think it's a good idea to uninstall and reinstall the RAMs.
If the beeper sounds further, change the RAMs.
