I picked up a used craftsman model 358350370 and discovered that the fuel line is broken up. I can see that a line goes to the priming bulb, and one comes from the priming bulb and there are two connections on the carb, but I do not see how the line exits the fuel tank through the hole in the side of the bottom and where it goes. I have three lines which must connect in five places excluding the filter, and only find four connecting points. Help!

SOURCE: Replacing 16

The second carburetor port feeds the primer (bleeder), returns excess fuel to tank.
Filtered line to carb, carb to bleeder, bleeder to tank (probably not visible and no hose in tank).

You can find an exploded parts list wit a little detail here:

The print is deceptive, it appears the filtered line feed the bleeder it does not!

Why does the fuel not stay in the primer bulb, when I prime the craftsman weedeater with sim-pul

Fuel lines probably need replacing. Have you been using ethanol? The alcohol eats the fuel lines on most 2 cycle motors up.

Craftsman model 358.797342 leaf blower has two lines going into the fuel tank, one is attached to a filter that lays within the tank, the other line I'm not sure what to do with?

The second line you are asking about is a pressure line that just goes inside the take and when you prime the bulb it puts pressure in the tank it is not attached to anything in the tank only to the primer bulb.

Need to know the fuel line routing including the primer bulb.

The smaller diameter line (fuel supply) goes from the fuel tank (w/filter) to the carb body. Look carefully at the 2 nipples on the carb. You can tell one is slightly larger than the other. Another larger line (purge line) goes from carb body to the right nipple on the primer bulb. Another large line (return line) goes from the left nipple of the primer bulb into the fuel tank. completing the purge circuit. This info pertains to the Craftsman 32cc with Zama carb and may work on the 25cc model as well.

When replacing purge bulb on my 32cc craftsman brushwacker I found 3 fuel lines off carb, two were connected to bulb, what's the third? I assume it goes to the other hole on the bottom of my fuel tank but...

the inlet line has the filter on the end in the tank
that goes to the bottom nlet of the carby
the return line goes from under the primer bulb back to the tank
some units run a 3rd line with a filter on the end ( outside of the tank0as that is used to vent the fuel tank as the cap is sealed
the fuel flow is this
through the carby through the pump back to the tank and is only used to prime the float bowl ( needle and seat and diaphragm with fresh fuel and to remove any air in that chamber

No gas when you prime it

1) Check fuel lines from tank for cracks, fuel filter in tank, primer bulb for cracks

2)Remove Carburetor
replace gaskets/diaphragms
a) use a spray carb cleaner to clean jets, holes, and body of carb
b) fuel pump diaphragm goes against the carb body,
then the gasket towards the outside
c) metering gasket goes against the carb body,
and the diaphragm goes towards the outside

Craftsman trimmer won't prime

A new carburetor would be simplest solution. You could try disassembling the carb, cleaning and replacing diaphrams, but just replacing the carb would be my choice. What is the model # on the trimmer and I can tell you the part # of the carb you need.
