3 month old mini frig stopped working today??

Could be the fan in the freezer making that noise.

If it happens that infrequently then nothing is technically broken.
More of a design, engineering issue.

Since it's still under warranty you should. It sounds like either the starter/relay is going bad or more serious the compressor may have a problem.

Any dealer can repair it. These pumps have a long life.

check drip pan under frig.remove ft bottom of frig under door/ck drip tray?full? old frig?-time to buy new one.could be working to hard(age,compressor going bad)will cause frig to sweat.producing water under it.hope this helps.:)

'After about ten months, the water dispenser stopped. I found a 5/16" coupling below the freezer door. Following the instructions on a tab attached to the hose, I separated the hose from the coupling. I then actuated the water cradle. Water gushed out of the tubing. The dispenser side of the dual water valve is ok.
I snaked a wire into the hose toward the dispenser until it stopped. I withdrew the wire then measured the length. The hose had a blockage at the lower left edge of the dispenser opening. I didn't know if there was a check valve in the hose. Since it was still in warranty (2 months to go), I called service.
I didn't say anything about what I did to the tech. He concluded that the hose was frozen (there is no check valve or anything else in the line between the coupling and the dispenser). According to him my options were to replace the door (he actually said that) or shut down the frig and let it defrost. I fabricated a double layer cardboard cover for the freezer compartment. I removed the light bulb then covered the opening. In about 60 minutes the dispenser started working again. I have had the frig since 12/03. It just froze up for the sixth time today (3/20/07). GE has offered no help or acknowledging that the frig has an insulation problem.'

hi try out the following settings....
Check your temperature setting.
- Check if no ice present in the evaporator, try the defrosting
- Check vents if air is present if no then check your blower if running or icing evaporator.
- Check your vents if not obstructed with stocks, or the unit is not overloaded with stocks.
- Check if compressor is running continues, if not then you need a qualified technician.

Mine burned out two adapter cords and it's only a month old. Unisar was sold to Graco 1-888-232-6476. So far Graco doesn't seem to know they have the product though. These things are bad and ought to be recalled in my opinion.

mikethemonk If there are no ice cubes stucked in the icemaker, you have to call GE for service. Your icemaker could be guaranteed for three months only. Gendos...post back
