One of the best method to unlock an iPhone 3GS is to unlock using remote unlocking service. You can get the remote unlocking service for an iPhone 3GS from www.wickedunlock.com/apple-iphone-3gs/rs16wp9/ at affordable cost. This method of unlocking is very simple. Here are the steps for unlocking an iPhone 3GS, 1. Wait for us to send you an email saying your phone has been activated or remotely unlocked. 2. Install the latest version of iTunes. 3. Make sure your Apple iPhone 3GS phone software is updated to the latest version using the iTunes software. 4. Connect your Apple iPhone 3GS to iTunes with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM card. 5. Wait until iTunes detects your Apple iPhone 3GS. 6. Disconnect your Apple iPhone 3GS and reconnect it after 10 seconds. 7. Your Apple iPhone 3GS is now unlocked.
This method of unlocking doesn't require a jailbreak too. Anyway if you need to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS, You can get the guide from www.absinthejailbreak.com All the best mate.
hello moosemarine!
Because the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS are so similar (the hardware is a bit different, but the software is the same), there's just a single manual for it. download free available at this link:
I have a Navman MY65T (a month old) it no longer has audio voice prompt, it used to speak out the directions. have I turned off a setting how do I regain voice prompt for directions????
I've got MY65T working on an iPhone 3GS. I previously had the problem where it would pair and retrieve phone book, but not transmit or receive voice from my iPhone when making a call.
The last thing I did that fixed it was to remove the bluetooth pairings and "reinstall software on your navman". I don't know if this may remove some of your settings / POI / etc. This was a new purchase so I didn't have anything to lose.
Before doing this I had upgraded the navdesk software to 7.30, and installed the latest firmware for MY65T. Firmware is located at http://www.navmansupport.com.au/Software/My%20Series/MY65T/MY250___352.htm
Details: -remove the phone bluetooth pairing from the Navman from Settings / Bluetooth / My Paired Devices / [your phone] / delete -remove the bluetooth pairing from your phone's settings -connect navman to PC and launch navdesk -click "My Navman" / "Reinstall software on your Navman" -download the install file if prompted -accept the reinstallation prompts and complete reinstallation -set your phone to discoverable over bluetooth (just keep it on the Bluetooth settings screen on iPhone) -go to Settings / Bluetooth /" Search new devices" on your Navman -click your phone's name on the navman's discovered devices -enter the PIN onto your phone when prompted and accept the pairing. This takes a little while. -test handsfree!
Hi, I have an iPhone also, you don't connect to other phones anymore, like if you did with normal mobile, if say you searched in a full room of people with the iPhone you would just find the printer in the corner!?!?, bizarre i know, but thats Apple for you, (2 steps forward, 5 backwards) you just connect to Bluetooth appliances like, your car, printer, pc/mac.. Thanks Mark
First, Can your 3GS connect on ant other Wi-Fi? If so the issue is specific to configuration on either iPhone or BT Home Hub. Second, Does BT Home Hub configured for any kind of mac-address security? Check that, if it does either remove it or add the iphone mac-address, you can find the iphone mac address under network setting. Third, Does Home Hub have limit on number of devices that can connect to it, some do. check that and make sure that you increase the limit or just remove the restriction altogether. Fourth, IS BT Home Hub Wep enabled? If so the password/key you are entring on your iPhone must be exactlythe same. Or just remove the wep encryption to see if your iphone 3GS can connect. Fifth, If your old 3G is able to connect to your BT Home Hub, then just make sure you are not FAT fingering the keys and entering a different key.
The procedure for sending the data via BT is hat you make your device and the receiving device visible. Pair with the receiving device by clicking on it. Give the same password to both devices when asked for. Authorise the receiving device. Then you can send as much data as you want.
