Question about LG 42PB4D 42 in. Plasma HDTV
Bought LG Plasma HD106cm in 2008.
Picture just dissapeared on all chanels, sound is great, but total black screen.
Menu or guide will not display either.
Checked all connections etc.
What has gone wrong with it please?
Your screen may have either burnt out or became disconnected somehow. Sometimes, it's as simple as a connector coming loose from its port; other times, however, there's physical damage to the wires/connector/port. I'd contact the manufacturer to troubleshoot it as far as it can go on the phone. I assume that they'll either figure it out right there, or follow their protocols and (assuming it's covered in the warranty) have you send it to them for diagnostic steps. The other alternative is to simply call a professional.
