Standby red light is constantly flashing

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. If you unplug the set and plug it back and turn it on and it repeats this look to see if the light is either constantly blinking or blinking a specific number of blinks---specific number would be an error code.

You have tried the first thing I would suggest. Next count the number of times the light flashes. It should flash in a pattern approximately one sec apart, then pause 3 seconds and start the same sequence over. The number of blinks will help narrow down the area of the problem. I suspect it is either in the HV section or the power supply. Have you had a power bump recently? Lightning strike? Anyone else in the neighborhood have trouble? You have to find someone to resolder your vertical IC and have them examine it for any and all bad grounds. Should be able to watch tv soon!!!

The LED used in most tv are dual color led,some have two lead, some have three. try to find the same size and replace it.
