Hdtv flashing green light for timer tv wont turn on

If the TV is a few years old the flashing green light means the bulb need to be replaced. That's why the TV will not show a picture. Check your owners manual on how to replace.

Our Mitsubishi WD 52525 goes to blue screen and shuts off.

It sounds like you TV is overheating and the video is suffering and the lamp is overheating as well. Also, if your TV is over 2-3 years old, the mirrors (behind and below the big front screen) desperately need to be cleaned. Clean all filters and fans as well. (Look on side and behind the unit). Is the TV in a "hot" environment and/or dirty environment? DLP TV's are NOT sealed units. They need to be cleaned every few years to work well to have a good, clear, bright picture.

Issue is with main tuner since you have two of them. At least the tv is ok but that tuner is fubar.

Picture has gone bad on my 70 in Misubishi

My recommendation is have a svc co. look at it. That model was noted for multiple electrolytic caps being bad and also solder joints. As long as the picture was good prior to your problem then I would say it's worth repairing. I worked on the same model for 3hrs to take care of all the problems and preventive maintenance.
