Green Light Flashing in Power Button

What is the make and model number for your tv? Is it an lcd flat panel, DLP, or CRT projection TV.
I need to know this to give you a proper diagnosis. Thank you

The x-sus or y-sus panel wil be the fault.Check the fuses on these panels ,if one of the fuses is open then that panel must be replaced.Not verry cheap to replace.

the capacitors on the DM need to be replaced. Very easy repair you can get the repair kit at this link which is for your model it contains the replacement capacitors and step by step insturctions.

Might not be the exact same problem as you - I simply turned the TV off one night and it never went back on. Just had the LED red light in front flashing. the tv is not come on.it has a flashing green light on.tv model hd 1080.

You need to replace the 1000uf capacitors on the DM board thats the classic symptom of the DM caps being bad the light continues to blink repeatedly. If you need more info on the repair let me know.

This TV has reached the end of its (short) life. Needs to be replaced.

You can try looking at what kind of TV it is, what model, and look at the manufacturer's web site, check for the manual, look up what it means when the green light flashes. Might be a code that means something but I think the TV is dead.

This may denote a proble in either your switching powers supply or your Horizontal section derived high voltage power supply. These are both very dangerous sections in your television. My next question is important; do you have a background in electronics? If not I would not advise you working on this problem yourself and that you take the TV to a repair shop for servicing. If you do have some background in electronics, I would like for you to make the following obeservations: What was the TV doing (it actions)prior to it going out? Did you hear any sounds before it went out like buzzing or crackling? What do you hear when you try to turn it on now, clicking? I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.
