I have a Carrier RV Air V air conditioner. I turn

I have a Carrier RV Air V air conditioner. I turn it on and the fan will not come on. The compressor will kick on. I can manually turn the fan and it will start to run, but it does not seem to be running at full speed. Not the same volume of air blowing. Do you think just the fan motor needs to be replaced?

Have fan start capacitor checked/replaced by licensed tech, or electrician as they are very dangerous to work with if not experienced and can give a very high voltage shock, that could be fatal. They basically store and increase voltage to higher range for start up of fan and compressor.

Dometic rv aircon quick cool air compressor and fan work fine high and low, but if I just want to use just fan ,turn on fan switch no fan, could this have a relay on control bd . weird

my rv just has on our auto with fan it will cycle with the compressor in auto will run all the time in on as long as you are in cooling

I have an rv that has a roof mount ac unit that will not blow air into the rv. it appears that the compressor kicks on and runs for a short period of time then kicks off. what could be the problem? dave

If there is no air moving when you turn on just the fan the fan control sw, connections to the fan, or fan motor is bad

make sure the filter is clean. make sure the evap is clean. sounds that you may have a defective t-stat or unit is under charged if filter and evap are clean. or you can run a freeze stat or a higher fan speed hope this helps you

Compressor sounds like it is coming on, but no fan/air coming out of vents. Also, with AC off, and turn Fan from auto to on, hear clicking, but again, no air. Duo-Term 57915.531 RV rooftop.

Carrier Desert Master AC trips the fuse

1- check the fuse must support the current of the unit not less than (rla of the unit)
2- check freon pressure may below or toohigh causes compressor winding over heating
3- check fan motor winding

Carrier air-v AC is not blowing cold air

There could be a freon leak, or just low freon levels. If this is the case, you have to call a certified a/c technician to recharge your system.

Air conditioner short cycling

Sounds like the thermostat probe is behind the filter,next to the coil,and not sensing good return air . just punch a hole through the filter so the bulb can sense return air! thank you-very-much!
