White smoke coming from the muffler, loud vibrating noise coming from engine. i was told it could be that a cylinder broke...any suggestions? almost everything else in the car has already been replaced. checked spark plugs, wiring doesnt seem to be the problem.
One potential cause is too much gas. It may be running "rich". Your car
may also be burning a little oil. White smoke is water or antifreeze. If you are loosing coolant from the
radiator, it's probably a blown head gasket. If not, it is just
condensation in the exhaust pipe that is evaporating as the pipes heat
up. If the car is running too rich, the unburned gas will cause black
smoke and burning oil smoke will be blue.
Hope helps (remember rated this).
Repair the engine or replace it. it look like bad piston or engine head.
White smoke can be brake fluid getting into the intake manifold, via brake master cylinder leaking into the brake booster, then being sucked into the vaccuum hose, get compression test done, then cylinder leakage test,if compression down in one or more cylinders
