Go to their website: http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/ko/421.htm, choose Overlocks in the top left sidebar, and then select 936. Over on the right in the main text section for the sergers, select the red link to start the presentation.

How to adjust the screen display on a Husqvarna 936 serger

Hello Susan.
All the different screen display adjustments are found starting on page 10 in the manual. If the manual is not readily available, here is a free link: Viking Huskylock 936 User Manual Sewing Advisor Display Function
The screen contrast is not adjustable on the Husqvarna 936 serger.
Happy stitching.

Huskylock 936 will not form a 4-thread overlock stitch

It may be difficult to solve a computer controlled machine with as many options as the 936 serger. Stepper motors control many of the functions. You can check out this video I made 4 years ago to get an idea of where to look.

I have a Huskylock 936 Serger and used it last week, no problem. I changed the threads for a new product and one thread came out and had to rethread. I know you have to thread the upper looper first then...

Recommend you remove all the threads and rethread from the beginning. ALWAYS RAISE THE PRESSER FOOT when threading and thread the upper looper first, the lower looper second. Sergers sometimes are temperamental about threading. When in doubt, start over from the beginning.

I can't seem to thread the over and under lock correctly because the pictures are so small. Please advise. Huskylock 936 Viking Serger

I could not find a manual for your machine, but did find this video - it starts a little silly, but the instructions are presented very well.

Needles hit the arm when stitching

Make sure you have completed all the steps to convert to cover stitch. There is a "clutch" to move from S to C for coverstitch that is located on the inside front of the machine where you thread the lower loopers. Make sure you have "locked down" the looper as instructed. There is a VHS and a DVD available from the Husqvarna Viking dealer. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.

Hi there, my husqvarna 936 is jamming slightly when i turn the hand wheel and when i use the pedal it works but their is a load catching noise can you help me plz

Hello, The first thing to do with a serger is to change the needles and take the thread off the machine and rethread it. The 936 can sometimes "fight" you a little when it comes to getting the needles up in all the way. It's critical that they are inserted all the way up in the needle clamp. Check to also make sure the N/R lever is in the N position. Check the needle plate, are the "needle like" pins still attached to the plate? If your serger jammed, sometimes the thread breaks the pin supports out of the plate. They are very important when it comes to stitch formation.
