No matter what sim card i put in my red w995 this message shows up ''no network coverage'' i cannot use it anymore for sms or call. i know 100% that all my sim cards are okay and working, i have another mobile to check out if the sim card is faulty or not..

you can check it with other sim card ,if it remains the same problem ,it may be locked to particular network wont accept any sim card other than the particular network ,you can unlock it and used to other network,try here http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/sony-ericsson-w995/rs7wp9/
This means the signal for the phone from your service provider is not reaching your phone/phone is not picking up.
please switch off and on it,it will be ok.
Still the problem presists put your SIM card in some other mobile and check whether you care getting signal.If it recieves the signal,then the problem is with the mobile only.
Please take your mobile to authorisedservice centre because it is due to internal problem.
it is a common sotware fault with all sony erricsson and other phones its the software what the companys put on aint all that its cracked up 2 be i would recomend a re-flash if that fails then take it back to your provider
OK i have just fixed my W995 that also came up with No network coverage out of the blue. Also when i went to charge it it said i needed a SE battery.
All this problem is, software. Yes simply all your phone needs is a software update. Sony Ericsson are known for disconnecting peoples phones if they do not have the latest software.
hi sir.. please check whether the network signal is is there in ur area.. if signal is there. check once once removing the battery once and another trick is put that sim in too ur some friend's pnone and try it.. may be solution will be solved.. thanks sir.
