Magenta Ink Cartridge Has Expired, showing this error message? still my catridge is 95% full. Give any solution pls

A few things to try or consider:
1) Has the Magenta ink cartridge expired?
2) Is it a genuine HP cartridge?
3) Is the nozzle plugged?
4) Did you allow the printer to run completely through its maintenance cycle?
5) Did you print a test page? or is this the "diagnostic page" you mentioned?

All the ink tanks should be red with no flashing.
The tanks that are flashing or have no red light on , need to be replaced.

Hi,

Every cartridge will have its own ID and Expiry date, please check the Cartridge expiry date, if its really expired then printer will reject it even-though the cartridge is full.

We cannot bypass cartridge errors for single cartridge in INK-JET printer, because they work in TIJ technology (Thermal Ink Jet) which needs all cartridges to be functional unlike Laser-jet printers.

The "Ink System Failure" error is causes by air in the ink feed tubes. We have a step by step guide purging the air from the feed tubes posted on our web site. replace the catridge.

Take out both the cartridges > wipe it with clean cloth> then the ink part of the cartridge wipe it with plain white paper> let little bit of the ink come out on the paper & put them back again in the printer>restart pc + printer - ur done. no more messages on your printer>then print a test page-simple.

Some cartridges can only be filled a few times before they break down. As the ink sprays out of the cartridge it wears the cartridge and causes it to display an error messege. Depending on your printer and cartridge some have a reset button just above the compuet chop board on the back of the cartridge. Press the button with a small needle, or paper clip if there is one and try again. If not the cartridge may be worn out.

try to wipe it in a wet cloth to remove the clogs on the nozzle that avoid it from jetting...load again your catridge on the carrier or cartridge holder....
and run maintenance page on it ...go to your printer panel and select maintenance and then select clean printhead..to print a maintenance page..or maybe your magenta has have a low ink condition..

I would remove the refill. HP voids the warranty if the cartridge leaks. I have seen refills leak and destroy the printer. Replace with a brand new cartridge. If that is not the solution you want. You can remove the cartridge and clean it with rubbing alchohol and a paper towel or a q-tip, just make sure there is no fuzz left when your done. Also if you have the HP software installed on your computer, there is usually a cleaning program built into the software.

Yes replace the possibly faulty cartridge as some just don't work. If you take it back to where you bought it from they may replace it with annother one free of charge?
