Getting error dns fail, on email settings

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

This sometimes happens in Samsung Cellphones that while connecting to internet via WIFI, DNS failed
To solved it follow the given procedure:

Go to browser
Then go to setting
Then clear cache, empty cookies and delete history
Now restart your Samsung S3653 cellphone, then connect to desire wifi connection, then browse after setting up your browser profile

If it doesn't solved then contact to Samsung Service providers and consult with providers of WIFI connection, But i hope it will work.

I can not download my emails on my samsung as it keeps telling me DNS failed. What is the problem

DNS fails happen if you do not have the static DNS server settings sent from your network provider. You need to contact your SP and advised them to send you the WAP and email setup settings on your handset. Once you get it , go to the Emails, settings, profiles and pick the one which is your service providers name.

please make sure that the wap settings are installed correctly.

it has something to do with the setting as the error says "DNS error"

DNS failed on Samsung Tocco Lite! HELP PLEASE!

You will need to get the internet connection settings from your service provider. Contact your mobile service provider and download the settings. Also some service providers require you to activate some kind of internet packs before browsing. Check if this is the case with your SP too.

It could be some problem with the settings for MMS in your phone.

Please check your MMS settings. If they are not entered, then you can get it from your service provider.

i got solution

dont solved problem!

ok solution:
click inafacture mode in network settings.
new connection > scan > now look for internet wchich has no security > choose it > then click left arrow > then choose easy and go to the save settings, save,test connection. IT WILL SAY YOUR INFO AT THE END AND THEN YOU CLICK CIRCLE GO TO INTERNET BROWSER AND ENJOY
IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG TRY AGAIN IN DIFFERENT PLACES.

Just giving you an idea,

on your computer, login to your email account then go to your account settings.. just copy your email configuration to your mobile..

on menu > messages > settings > email > email accounts
> Your email account.. input your configuration from your email..

(e.g. smtp.mail.yahoo.com & pop.mail.yahoo.com) for yahoo accounts

on menu > messages > settings > email > email profiles> choose your connection (e.g. wifi connection, gprs/edge connection)
