the sear should have a Tecumseh 11 hp motor

the pictures are the original governor and carby set ups for a sears 10 hp

the motor used will be a makers model ( B&S , honda Tecumseh, Villers etc and manuals for the carby will be found in the repair manual for the engine used in the mower

I bought a brand new 13 hp Tecumseh on my rider,was trouble from day one,fought it tooth and nail,finally took to shop,they put a brand new Taecumseh carb on it,couldn't get it to run,went to a dinky lawn mower shop,was told the carb was not the right one,wow,they sold me a used one that looked way different,but it worked super,so try another non-tecumseh carb or fight it forever.

check the key switch or change the selionoid

If you go to the SEARS Parts web site, the SEARS Part Numbers are the same as the Tecumseh Part Numbers.

Have you tried going to Partsdirect.com and put your model number in at this site. This is Sears website.

Yes that could cause it to stall without choke, check plugs, wires, coils and air filter. It could be any one of those.
