Download and install this File Manager - fexplorer.

Launch FExplorer and navigate to C: if you use Phone Memory to store your messages (default) and D: if you use Storage Card as your SMS location.

Now navigate to and open "system" folder.

Now open the "mail" folder.

This folder should contain many folders named similar to 0010001_s etc. with files named similar to 00100000 etc., These files are the actual deleted messages, Simply, use the FExplorer inbuild text viewer to view these files, You will need to browse through every folder and open all files inside them until you get the required SMS.

Do Note that this trick does not work on Symbian 3rd Edition cellphones.

All of the deleted data, pictures, songs folders, etc will be automatically routed to you computers recycle bin.

you deleted the partition C that the windows old folder was on, you may try a windows restore, however....the files can be retrieved they are still there, you need YODOT HARD DRIVE RECOVERY PROGRAM to scour the old partition that was there previously and restore the folders that you wish to recover onto a new area of the new partition. You can often successfully recover deleted photos from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted.
When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.

If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned.
If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it.

One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted files is to try some file recovery software. Recommended this data recovery as it saved my life many times.

Don't write any files to that Sandisk. You'll overwrite the deleted files. Are you using Windows to read the files off the Sandisk? I think I used the free tool recover files in the past. ( http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/02/recover-deleted-files-with-ntfs-undelete/ ) . There are many programs to recover deleted files. This is a free one.

if your word document is still open , yes you can retrieve your deleted pages if not you don't have chance .
if it still open , undo button can do that.

try resetting the sansa player, if that dosent work then email sandisc a d ask them to give you a folder containing the system info.
