Perfectly normal.. What you are actually hearing is a balance ring on the inner tub that has liquid inside to help keep washing loads balanced. The balance ring is filled with a calcium chloride solution and baffles within the ring allow the fluid to disperse within the ring evenly By rotating the spin basket you can hear the fluid dispersing within the baffles of the balance ring.
Thebalanceringisfilledwithacelciurnchloridesolutionandbaffles, withintheringallowthefluidtodispersewithinthe:ring, evenly I also thought ours was not draining properly but discovered otherwise when I had to take the inner tub out for a bearing repair job.. Hope this puts your mind at rest..
Could be a Tub Seal leak my 1st choice. Could also be a leak caused by a cracked outer tub, issues from the hoses from the drain line connections to the drain pump, drain pump and or drain line.
water leaks out of the plastic box where you put the detergent/bleach/fabric softener, from the OUTSIDE of the box onto tub, drips down tub on to metal tray and into drawer. Anyone had this problem?
tHE PROBLEM IS YOU NEED TO CLEAN YOUR SOAP, SOFTENER AND BLEACH DISPENSER, REMOVE THE BLEACH AND SOFTENER DISPENSER TRAY, AND YOU WILL FIND THAT IF YOU HAVE BEEN USING LIQUID SOFTENER, THAT IT HAS GUMMED UP AND CLOG THAT AREA AND IS CAUSING SPILL OVER. WHEN THE WATER IS POURED INTO THE TRAYS TO DISPENSE THE BLEACH AND OR SOFTENER.
the washer has a low level of water in it at all times. it will never completely drain out unless you pump it. this is one of the reasons there is such a smell with these washers, i use vinegar in rinse cycle and i use bleach once sometimes twice a month to keep mold and mildew smell away.
You may have a clog on that side where the water comes into it, or the dispenser valve is not opening that side.
There is a service sheet inside the bottom of that front lower access
panel on the right side wall, you can go through the diagnostics to
test the water flow to that side of the tray.
I have a maytag neptune front loader (MAH8700AWW) unless I turn the water off @ the faucet the water continues to run into the washer after the load is done .How can I fix this.
