Hi i have a mirai 37in tv. Its great apart from after 1 hour maybe more it turns itself off, the on/off switch flashes and a clicking noise can be heard. It will go on again after turning it off but does the same in a short amount of time unless i turn it off for long periods of time. It is very stylish and such a shame. Can it be fixed and is it expensive

TV has started to make a really loud humming noise, then sounds like a siren noise after you turn it off and now it has started to turn off by itself. Thinking maybe a fan? Worried it may cost more to have...

It could be 1 of 2 fans (fans are around $30.00 each) or more likely it is the color wheel beginning to fail. Color wheel will cost around $180.00-200.00, plus labor. I would recommend calling 1-800-samsung to find the nearest service center. Part should take an hour to an hour and a half to complete repair.

My 1080p Mitsubishi television suddenly stared to switch itself off and then a red light would flash for a minute. When I turn it back on I am geeting sound for a few minutes and then it switches itself...

Hi,do you hear any strange noises? If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on it could be the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast. Here's the instructions to replace it :http://www.fixyourdlp.com/guides/samsung/bp47-00033a.php But if you don't hear any strange noises,tv is around 4000 hrs,1-3 yrs it could be time to replace the lamp. The lamp you need is 915b403001 .Have a blessed one!

TV made a buzzing noise then turned off. Now power light flashes

You have a very Technical problem with this TV. you may have 2 big problems, ballast and dmd. but it could be something else. If you decide to repair it, honestly you will spend more than 300dlls on it, if you like to, go to fixyourdlp.com

Sharp LC-26D43U Power light flashes and unit won't turn on?

It's a power supply related problem. When it turns itself off, this it called protection mode. The TV automatically turns off to protect other parts form being damaged.
The most common problem is the Power Supply Unit or the Backlight Inverter Board.
You may have to take the TV to a repair shop to find out which one is bad. Paying a repair shop to replace the board for you maybe more than the TV is worth. If you let them diagnose it and you replace the bad circuit board yourself, it would be cheaper.

Here's a place I use to get parts for TVs:
http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?q=LC-26D43U&p=1
The problem is the repair shop may charge you double or three times of what the part costs at the web site link above. Then, plus labor. I just want to save you money. :)
