Re: QWERTY keyboard is not working, I have a Samsung
Check keyboard matt... check keypad membrane... check keypad interface... or may it be the keypad IC that requires a cellphone technician to check -up/repair...

Your keyboard is not "typing wrong letters", you have a stuck key. The key is shorting out and is stuck on the letter W. Usually caused by dirt/dust/spills on the keyboard jamming the key so it can't release. Things to try in order of difficulty: >Vacuum cleaner with brush attachment, vac the keys. >Paper towel moistened lightly rubbed on the 4 sides of the W key; use a knife blade to gently work down into the edges. >Soft toothbrush, lightly dampened with water, work the bristles all all around the edges of the W key. After that do step 2 with a dry dry paper towel. >Take the keyboard apart; usually several tiny screws on the rear/sides. CAREFULLYremovethe top. You may have to turn the board over, lie on its face to do this. Do not knock the letters out of order or you will have a headache placing them back in proper order! Clear whatever it blocking the W and replace the cover. If none of the above works the keyboard has failed, needs to be replaced.
1. Boot your computer in Safe Mode (press F8 simultaneously after you turn the computer ON) and check if the keyboard still displays random characters when you type qwerty. 2. If it works fine, check this guide on how to disable startup items that might be causing the problem. 3. If same problem occurs, try to use an external USB keyboard and check if the issue persists.
If using an external keyboard fixes the problem, that is a sign that your laptop keyboard is already wearing out and needs replacement.
QWERTY (pronounced kwerti) is the most common modern-day keyboard layout. The name comes from the first six letters (keys) appearing in the top letter row of the keyboard, read left to right: Q-W-E-R-T-Y. The QWERTY design is based on a layout created by Christopher Latham Sholes in 1873 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the Sholes and Glidden typewriter and sold to Remington in the same year, when it first appeared in typewriters. It became popular with the success of the Remington No. 2 and No. 3 and No. 389 of 1878, and remains in use on electronic keyboards due to the network effect of a standard layout and a belief that alternatives fail to provide very significant advantages.[1] The use and adoption of the QWERTY keyboard is often viewed as one of the most important case studies in open standards because of the widespread, collective adoption and use of the product, particularly in the United States.[2]
the normal keyboard is called a qwerty keyboard because the letters in the upper left portion of the letters spells qwerty and it would be very surprising to find out that you had a different style. As far as the power problem, you will need to order a new battery for the laptop from what it sounds like.
