Since the (CPU) socket type for that series of board is LGA 775 (depending where you buy it from). then a P4 3.2GHz will work just fine as long as it matches the socket. I happen to have a similar (ECS) 661GX-M board and the original CPU that was intended for it is a Celeron D 2.80GHz, but I upgraded to a P4 3.2GHz with no issues, in terms data processing/booting, power, thermal or anything else.
As someone else mentioned, it pays to check your motherboard website's specs to be sure the right type of CPU for the socket and board chipset is used (a mismatch could result in non-operation), but I'd say it's a sure bet your board WILL support the P4 processor you ask about. Try it and see, if it works, go with it. Keep the original Celeron CPU handy (and put it to one side) in case the upgrade doesn't work out (or the P4 doesn't work for some other reason) and you need a 'fallback plan'.
Go to your motherboard website and check it's CPU specificaions
