Please goto add/remove programs and remove firefox completely. Then goto download.com and get a new copy if this does not work ...

You may be a victim of spyware/maleware infections. You will need to have your system cleaned. This should help resolve your issue.

I would recommend trying CCleaner first to see if this helps you. Please keep in mind this will not rid your system of everything just keep you a float and offer you a fighting chance.

Please keep me posted and updated on your issue. I am here for you and will see your issues out till resolved.

Have a great and wonderful day :)

Thank You

Why fire fox can't find server

First of all, have you tried to connect to the Internet using Internet Explorer? If you can, then it is most likely that one of Firefox's file has become corrupt. In order to do this properly (best - and presuming you can get online), download Revo Uninstaller Free. Once you have downloaded it and installed it, start it up. You will get a display of many of the programs that you have on your computer. There will also be some that will appear to be duplicates. They start with the name, Microsoft Visual C++ - DO NOT UNINSTALL ANY OF THESE. Look for Firefox and click on it's icon once. Now look at the top row and find Uninstall (not Uninstaller), it should be the 6th icon from the left. Click on it and you will get a dialogue box asking if you really want to uninstall Firefox. Click on Yes and another dialogue box will open. This one asks which "Mode" you want to use. Click on the radio button/dot on the bottom that says Advanced. This will get rid of ALL traces of Firefox. There will be some further action you may have to take when Revo asks if you want to uninstall other values/files. With the ones on the first list, click ONLY on the boxes next to an name that stands out in BOLD letters. NO DOING THIS COULD POSSIBLY RENDER YOUR COMPUTER NON-FUNCTIONAL!
Follow the prompts and you will get rid of Firefox traces and be able to install a new version with no corrupt files.

Can not connect to Outlook Express. I am using Moxzilla Foxfire as my search engine. My e-mail is [email protected]. I need immediate emergency help (due to an emergency situation). Please...

The version of the Mozilla firefox which is installed on the computer must be corrupt due to which the browser is not working properly. All the applications which are installed on the computer have lot of files which are associated to it. If any of the files which are associated to the browser gets corrupt or is missing on the computer then the browser will not work properly. Replace all the files which are corrupt or missing on the system and then check if the browser is working properly or not. Uninstall the browser and remove all the files and keys associated to the application. Once all the traces of the application are removed, reinstall the browser and see if it works properly.Sometimes the add-on/applications installed on the browser create problems which you are facing. Some files of the browser are corrupt and if such an application is installed on the browser, it will definitely corrupt the files of the browser. If such a situation occurs then the browser will not work properly. Mozilla firefox has a diagnostic mode which is known as safe mode. In safe mode all the applications/add-ons are disabled. Start the browser in safe mode, to start the browser in safe mode, type "firefox.exe/safemode". If the browser works properly in safe mode then find and remove the application which is creating problem.Follow these steps and let me know if it works Open Windows Explorer. Click on Tools and then select Folder options. Now select Files Types tab.Check if the HTTP is highlighted or not.Now Select Advanced. Check if the Open is highlighted in the Action box.Select Edit.Remove the check mark from Use DDE and then click on Browse.Select the location of Mozilla firefox and click on OK. Check if the path of Mozilla appears in the Applications tab.Now click on the path and add url 1 ending with double quotes.Click on OK. Repeat the same procedure for HTTP with Privacy. Now the there would be no problem in opening the links of Outlook Express in Mospeaceszilla firefox.

I upgraded Firefox. From the I only get a message to restart the computer over and over. Even if I try to uninstall it just restart the computer

often this is because of a corrupt file somewhere in the install. If you have tried
1. Findind the Mozilla Firefox folder in your computer and using the uninstall icon
and
2. Going to Control Panel and going to Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features and using that service to uninstall the program
then try to uninstall what you can, do not reboot, and manually delete the Mozilla Firefox files from Program files. Then, load up the Registry editor by going to run-> and typing in regedit
search (ctrl+f) for the word firefox and delete every instance you find.
now, restart your computer normally by going to start and then restarting.

How to upgrade my FF browser to the new released version.. ive already downloaded the update but i dont know how to do this. thanks

make sure that you have all FF windows closed, and run the .exe file that you downloaded. That should install the update. Also, if you are using Vista or 7, you may have the UAR popup a window asking for permission to run the program.

Whenever i attach a picture file, firefox does

your browser must have corrupted files, if you cannot repair it thru reinstall, try to have only one web browser, uninstall other browsers and try to attach a picture file. Conflicts are sometimes one of the reasons for page shutdowns.

Cannot install yahoo toolbar on firefox.....

this error message can be caused by either:
  • corrupted configuration files on your computer.
  • security software, which may be preventing these files from being updated
try this

Corrupt extension configuration files can cause problems when trying to install an extension. Deleting these files will make Firefox recreate them (removing any corruption) the next time it starts. You won't lose your extensions or their settings by deleting these files.
  1. From the menu at the top of the Firefox windowbar, select FileFirefox and then select the ExitQuit FirefoxQuit menu item.
  2. Go to your profile folder.
  3. Delete the following files:
    • extensions.ini
    • extensions.cache
    • extensions.rdf
  4. Restart Firefox.
