Its in the stand by mode

ok, this may be a silly question but when you turn it on and it starts flashing red, have you tried pressing the stand-by button on the remote. if a tv has been put on stand-by by the remote, and is then switched off by the set, when the set is turned back on it is still in stand-by mode and you need to press the stand-by button on the remote.
other than that I don't know.

use a freeview box, turn the dtv off in the menu

To get it too power on press the source button a lot after a (good) few trys your get it up on another source, my own tv does this and using a freeview/freesat box makes it use-able just a pain to turn on in the first place even if you turn the dtv off in the menu

If anyone knows how to get it to turn on stright to another source would be great to know how

Your remote start wires going into your transfer switch are closed, which means you transfer switch is the problem.

I think she put your phone in "Airplane or Stand Alone Mode".

Go to menu---Tools & Settings----Phone or Call Settings---
Airplane or Stand Alone mode----deactivate. You should be good to go after that....

You have a blown amp or a leaky cap and the unit is going in to save mode to avoid destrying the unit.

Take it in for a repair. I don't think it should run more than $50-$75 for a fix depending on what component is bad.

We had a similar thing (after using it for 4-5 years). After haveing it on for e few hours
some resistance or condensator or so gave a sound (bang) and it went back in the stand by mode. Now it really broke , while showing in the screen "F61" which means that there is something wrong with the eletricity supply. Well, we will start from there with an official repair man. Let you know what it takes to get it repaired. Frasha
