Have you gotten the latest driver for the Belkin? How far is the Belkin from the router. Use the cable and base with the Belkin and put it as close to the ceiling as you can. If the router is on the floor or on the desk, relocate it to a higher location.
You cannot upgrade v3 to v4 or v5. Belkin routers are junk, because once they come out with a new version you will never see a fix for your router. You have to go buy a new router if you want better access to the routers settings. You are better off buying another brand like I did. Belkin blows.
I'm thinking modem/router combination. first power down modem and router. Then leaving router unplugged, power up modem, make sure it's sync up then power up router. If this is a wireless connection search for your networks name on computer/laptop..ie View wireless connection. Windows allows a automatic setup if the wireless connection is unsecured. If it is secured Windows 7 will prompt a pass phrase/ or access code. Good luck. Repeat process if necessary
since one of the computer is going w/l, that means router should be working fine. the computer that is not connecting might have some w/l settings that neds to be changed
try to upgrade the firmware of the router. that will help you. For this you will need to connect the computer to the router. Do not upgrade the firmware of the router using the wireless computer. You will need to download the new firmware from the manufacturer's web site. Then open the router set up page and upgrade the firmware of the router.

I dont think belkin has a stable driver for win.7 at this time. I have a belkin n router with a belkin adapter and had no luck.
Some people have had some success using a Vista driver.
You could go to www.bioticaindia.com and download a win 7 driver there. They show a 48% success rate.
Upgrading the firmware (which forced a software reset) solved a similar problem I had with an SMC router. Have you tried logging into your router via an ethernet cable and doing a software reset? If you try this, be sure you have all the information you need to set up your wireless network again because the reset will wipe out all this information.
