I tried turning my computer on and right after the dell logo comes up to load, I get a black screen that says NTLDR is missing Press any key to restart, but when I push a key, the same error message just...

Hi,it is possible that your hard drive has crashed thats why you r getting that message or its just the Operating system, and in the event of the former i'll advise you replace your Hard drive. But in the case of just the operating system being corrupt try repairing it,if it does not work,back-up your files using and external SATA converter and format.

Error code 0146 for dell inspiron 1525??? what to do

This is an indication of a hard disk failure. If your system can still load to the OS, backup your files to be sure before it becomes inaccessible.

OS does not load

immediately test the hdd.
turn off laptop.
run psa (press and hold on the Fn key then press power button once. the test will progress just wait until it will say some results).
if it has error codes such as 0142-0146 it means hdd needs to be replaced.
if no errors try to do startup repair, pc restore. if all fails reinstall your windows os.

My dell laptop gives me a error code of 0146 amd keeps rebooting

Error Code 0146 refers to failure to find or load NTLDR files, needed to run your operating system. Place your Restore disk in the DVD drive, power up the computer, hold down the F12 key till boot screen shows up. Boot from DVD and run Repair to restore these files.

My kid put passwords no my dell inspiron 1525 on both operatering system & my system bios service tag 4fn7jf1

you could use your system restore function to restore your computer to a date prior to when the passwords were placed on the computer. I believe f10 when booting will access the system restore menu on a dell. if not try f8

My Dell Inspiron 1525 wont load up

I'd suggest first removing your memory modules and reinsert one at a time.

But, I think your operating system is compromised, due to Spyware, etc.

Since your system won't boot in Safe Mode, your only other option is to repair or reinstall your operating system.

Hope this helps.
