SOURCE: sony dvp-ns400d player won't recognize dvd's

Hello,
This DVD player unfortunately does not support most of the Copied DVD /CDs.
it works stemless with only genuine / original CD and DVDs..
If your DVD or CD originally recorded by manufacturers but still can not read ,
than I recommend you to obtain and apply it to clean your laser eye of the DVD player.

The second problem is related with
factory locked multizone feature..
on the rear of the player will be a region code plate with a picture of a globe and a
number next to it.
If you DVD disc does not have the same ZONE number ,it wont work.
But in order to convert your DVD to a multizone you need to make some additional adjustment.
Hope it will solve your problem.otherwise ask me to give you more on unlocking multizone feature.
Please remember to vote me too..
Regards

Tray locked on sony dvp-ns77h dvd player

If the Sony DVP-NS77H DVD player displays "TRAY LOCKED" and you can't eject a disc or open the tray, try the following - First turn the unit off. Then, while holding down the eject, play and stop buttons simultaneously (on the front of the DVD player), turn the unit on with the '/O button (also on the front of the player). This released the locked tray for me.

Connected speakers to the back {5.1} but still no sound

Hello ,
The 5.1 connections on the back of DVD player are for either <surround system amplifier< or
<5,1 featured Receivers..<

If and When you connect your DVD player to a receiver ,you will get full sound...
