Have you properly programmed the scanner? Are you sure the codes you are scanning are readable and are programmed as active in the scanner? Is the scanner set up to communicate properly with your PC/other device? I'd review the User's Guide and follow their instructions. Here's a link to the guide. Choose the first User's Guide on the list. Good luck

Fire trouble code on ademco 6160

To check for power or continuity when you have a fire trouble code on the display panel and all the lights are out, you can use a multimeter. A multimeter is a handheld device that can measure electrical current, voltage, and resistance.

To use a multimeter to check for power or continuity:

Set the multimeter to the correct setting for the type of measurement you want to take (e.g. voltage, resistance, continuity).

Turn off the power to the circuit you will be testing.

Connect the multimeter probes to the appropriate points on the circuit. The red probe is usually used for positive connections, and the black probe is used for negative connections.

Turn the power back on and observe the reading on the multimeter. If the reading is within the expected range, there is continuity or power present in the circuit. If the reading is outside the expected range, there may be a problem with the circuit.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other question.

Cant see my android on pc when connecting a usb cable

Please do the following to isolate your issue:

1. It's possible that the usb port your connecting to is broken.
  • Connect to another USB port.
  • Connect to another PC and check if it's being read.
2. Problem with cable.
  • Just use another USB cable.
3. Some android devices may be displayed in your computer but may not read your device as the screen is locked.
  • Just unlock the display of your device by inserting your security code or swipe pattern.
4. USB port of your device is broken or the device storage itself could no longer be read. (hopefully not)
  • If above items did not work then you may want to have your device checked by a technician.

Goodluck!

My garmin will not power up. it was working fine when i shut car off then would not power up when i restarted car

Any device can come up with such problem. It might be working perfectly fine in a minute and stop working the next minute. The problem simply is power related. The sources of power to the device is mainly from the charger and the battery.
These are the components to be checked, first test the battery of the device by inserting it on another device and plugging it for about 2 hours before powering it on, if it powers on, then it means the battery is alright and if it does not turn on, then it means the battery is weak and cannot hold a charge or that the battery is dead and cannot work. The solution to that is for you to replace the battery with a new one.
Next, test the charger by trying it out on another gps device to see if it will work, if it works, then it means the charger is alright, but if it does not, then it means that the charger is burnt and it cannot charge or power on your device. And the solution to that is for you to replace the charger with a new one.
You have to also check the device to see if it is also still working by connecting it to a computer to see if it will work. Before you connect it to computer, ensure you have a well tested battery in it, then you power it off before connecting it to the computer, after connecting it to the computer, check if the computer will read it before powering it on, if it reads it, if it does not, then it means there is a problem with the connection port or something is wrong internally with the device.
Hope this information helped you.

Turn on the TV
NOTE: Please read steps 2 to 4 completely before proceeding. Highlight or write down the codes and device you wish to program before moving on to step 2.
2. Press and hold SETuntil the Red Light blinks twice, then release SET.
3. Locate the code for your device in Manufacturer's Codes on the back of this user guide. Brands are listed in alphabetical order with the most popular codes listed first.
4. Enter the first five-digit code for your TV. If you perform this procedure correctly, the Red Light will blink twice
NOTE: If you enter an invalid code, the red light will display one long blink and exit the programming mode. Repeat steps 2 to 5 with a valid code.
5. Aim the remote control at your TV and press Power once. The device should turn off. If it does not respond, repeat steps 2 to 4, trying each code listed for your brand until you find one that works. If it still does not work, try Searching For Your Code.

HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GSA-T20N ATA Device error code 10, Laptop cant read DVD and doesn't acknowledge that there is a disc in the computer, and it even says that the driver is up to date and functional. HELP?

hi,

Error Code 10. The device is not installed, The Device Has A fault, The devices driver is not installed correctly.

Possible Solutions:- Uninstall the device, and re-install it using the device manager, Or Add new Hardware wizard, After uninstalling.
Does the drive read a CD ? this would eliminate the Cd reading. As the dvd uses a different or power increased laser beam. Do you have a good program installed for reading DVDs ( Power DVD Or Similar )

Connection problem for Philips VOX130 with other bluetooth devices

1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.
2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select VOX130 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

please give good rating if the solution works.
Thanks for using FixYa.
