My clippers just stopped working...just gives a light buzz

oil your blade after each use. on the side there is a blade adjustment setting. after you oil the blade turn your clipper on, turn the set screw out a few turns till the blade is free. Then turn back in till it makes a loud clacking noise. Then u will back out the set screw till the baldes stop clacking and keep oiled well.

The power screw is the correct way to adjust the problem you describe. If you have attempted to adjust it as instructed in the user manual and have not had satisfactory results, there may be a problem with the clippers.

Hi I have been a hair stylist for 25 years each guard that clips on has a number on them the lower the number the more hair is clipper off start big like a number 8 will leave one inch of hair 7 leaves 7/8 of a inch 6 leaves 3/4 of a inch 5 leaves 5/8 of a inch 4 leaves a 1/2 inch of hair on the head 3 leaves 3/8 of a inch 2 leaves 1/4 of a inch and a 1 is just hair on the Scalp almost bald no days the color of guards are changing so your best bet is go with the size remember to start with the largest one first then you will know what you like the best and you can't go wrong and if you buy WAHL and you not A Hair Stylist You Can Purchase A Good Clipper at Sallys Good Luck

My balding clipper blades dont move or cut

where you cutting hair that had hair gel, if so the hair gel act like glue, if this not the case you may have a short in the coil motor or broken wire in the cord. Contact [email protected] they are a Wahl Dealer they have all the parts for Wahl clippers.
