Sound card probem ....pls i want to re-install the sound card.

Please check that your audio cable from speaker to CPU is connected properly or not ,if not pls connect .If still sound not coming then pls check the sound card is enable or not in your system BIOS.If not pls enable it and login through administrator and check ,If still sound not coming then pls check the sound driver is installed or not if not pls install it and check .if still issue not resolved pls check your speaker is working or not by connect with another system.If still not resolved then problem with your sound card in the Mothaeboard get it repaired by Vendor.

There are conflict with IRQ .Pls restart your system and go to BIOS afterv that save default setting of BIOS .After that check that your sound card is enable and press F10 button of Keyboard ,login through administrator and check sound .if still not coming pls re-install the sound driver .

you hasent followed the sequence for installing the drivers.

make sure you download the one for your operating system

WHEN YOU PLUG IN THE SOUND CARD WHAT DOES IT DO OR DOESNT DO?

IS THERE ANYOTHER CARDS PLUGED INTO THE MOTHERBOARD TOO.
DID YOU REMOVE OLD DRIVERS FIRST,

i got the same probem and i am trying to find the solution. it could be that your sound system is different and the right driver is not installed. do you know what is the exact model of the sound card installed as per the laptop specs?

can u pls help me.. i've formatted my compaq presario v2000 noebook, but my sound driver is notinstalled properly,saying some error msgs., i tried by downloading from compaq website,even am facing same problems,, cn u help me to solve this problem.. can u tell me the way to reinstall sound succesfully..

board is energy p3 pls check ur soung card model, to check ur sound card model in run command type dxdiag.exe and check sound detail if u found ur sound card detail go to google page type ur model of sound card and download .
