Little late I know, but.. when you power off the tv it SHOULD turn off about 25 seconds later. Assuming thats how you have it hooked up is directly to the tv.

Power to instrument panel, door lock, AC went on/off during driving

It appears that you have a bad intermittent connection and those are hard to fix because most of the time, like when you want to work on it, everything is fine! But yes, check the wiring and the switches involved in affected circuits you described.

How do you format a ps3

Ok, follow these simple steps :

Step 1. Turn the PS3 off into standby mode (red light on)

Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep once when you press it, once more 5 seconds later and then once more and it will turn back off onto standby. Release the power button.

Step 3. Press and hold the power button again. It will beep once when you press it, beep again 5 seconds later then it will beep twice quickly. When you hear these 2 quick beeps let go of the power button.

Step 4. Your PS3 will start up asking you to connect a controller via USB and press the PS button. Do this and then go on to step 5.

Step 5. A menu will load up. Select option 5 "Restore PS3 System". This will format the PS3 and reset all settings back to default.

This problem is because your PS3 software has become corrupt. The following steps will cure the problem but you will lose saved games and all other data. Your trophies will not be affected as these are stored by the Playstation Network.
Step 1. Turn your PS3 onto standby (Red light on)
Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep as soon as you press it, beep 5 seconds later then beep once more 5 seconds later and then turn back to standby. Release the power button.
Step 3. Press and hold the power button again. It will beep when you first press it, beep again 5 seconds later and then beep twice quickly. Let go of the power button as soon as you hear these two beeps.
Step 4. The PS3 will start up asking you to plug in a controller with a USB cable and press the PS button. Do this and it will boot into the recovery menu.
Step 5. Choose option 5 (Restore PS3 system). This will re-install the PS3 software and restart the console.
Step 6. When the PS3 restarts you will be asked to enter the time and date and other information. When the setup is complete your PS3 will boot into the home menu normally.

Hope this helps

Macbook goes to sleep and doesn't wake up unless I do a hard reboot.

I have seen this caused by having a mouse plugged into mine. I have removed the mouse and touch the touchpad and it has come up from sleep.

That very well may not be your problem.

Here is the procedure that is recommend from Apple to help with the not waking from sleep problem. I included both methods as it is not clear which macbook you have. I also included the link to the article at the bottom.

The System Management Controller is an integrated circuit (computer chip) that is on the logic board of the computer. As the name implies, it is responsible for power management of the computer. It controls backlighting, hard disk spin down, sleep and wake, some charging aspects, trackpad control, and some input/output as it relates to the computer sleeping.

Over time, the settings in the System Management Controller may become unusable, which can result in operational anomalies with the computer. Examples include not turning on, not waking from sleep, not charging the battery, or not recognizing the AC Adapter, among others.

MacBook (13 inch, Late 2008), MacBook Pro (15-inch, Early 2008), and MacBook Pro (17-inch, Early 2008)
  1. If the computer is on, turn it off.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the computer's battery.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds and then release the button.
  4. Reconnect the battery and AC Adapter.
  5. Press the power button to restart the computer
Note: Starting with MacBook Pro (Late 2008) and MacBook (Late 2008) models, you may instead use the reset method for MacBook Air (below) to reset the SMC. All earlier models of MacBook and MacBook Pro must use the method described above, which involves removing the battery.
MacBook Air and MacBook Pro (Late 2008 and later)
  1. If the computer is on, turn it off by choosing Shutdown from the Apple () menu.
  2. Connect the power adapter to a working power source.
  3. On the built-in keyboard, press (left) Shift-Control-Option along with the power button once.
  4. Wait 5 seconds and press the power button to start the computer.
Note: You must use the keys on the left side of the built-in keyboard.
