I forgot my password i have a sheet that says router username and router password but they are not working

The username and password is for the Router, and there should be a label on the back of the router.

There is usually a factory reset button located in a pinhole on the back where the connections are. Turn the router on and press the reset button for 5-10 seconds. This will clear all the settings including your password. You can find the factory password in the manual or online.

Just access the modem's GUI.

Follow this instructions:1. connect via hard wired connection using your PC (network cable)2. open your internet explorer or any browser.3. type the numbers 192.168.1.1 on the address bar4. you will be routed to your router's settings, type admin for USERNAME: and admin for PASSWORD.5. look for the basic setup/settings6. look for the wireless settings7. under your SSID comes the WEP or WPA-PSK option8. that is your wi-fi password, then modified it and remember the password you use for you will need to enter it on your pc when you are connecting via wireless connection.you can select ASCII for password. it should be alpha numeric or combination of letters and numbers.9. select save and apply. then you are good to go.

You need to access the router settings:
* connect your computer via ethernet cable from the back of your computer to the back of your router* open a browser (mozilla firefox, google chrome, internet explorer)* type 192.168.1.1 on the address bar (that's where you type the www address)* press enter* you will be routed to the router page* select setup/interface setup* read down the information stated* look for the username and password (this will be provided to you by your service provider)* type the username and password in the correct fields then press saved.
The reason why your router is not working is the username embeded in your router settings, it might be still the old username and password from your previous internet service provider, this should be corrected for you to have complete connection.

Depending on which revision you have there are two possibilities

Default Username is: admin
Default Password is: password
or
Default Username is: admin
Default Password is: admin

If neither of these work - you may have setup a new username and password and forgot - on the router you will see a reset point - reset the router to factory defaults and the username and passwords above will now work.

Otherwise, you can use the reset button on the back to restore the default settings including the default password.

what you want exactly?password for what? username and password for internet in subscriber? or just WEP for wireless key password?
if you forgot the password for username and password for subscriber....theres an option,i dont know what kind of subscriber do you have in your country...if you forgot the username and passowrd you can ask in the subscriber.
regarding in the WEP password for wireless,it doesnt matter,try this..
type 192.168.1.1 in the internet toolbar
username:admin
password:admin
and you can see the configuration,check the wireless settings for WEP...

Try admin, admin. If that doesn't work press the reset button and it will restore the factory settings. You will have to reconfigure the router.
