My Frigidaire Gallery large capacity front loading washer (FWT445GES2) makes a wicked loud noise during spin cycle. Does not seem to be due to imbalance or small load. Just started yesterday. What should I do?

IF IT ROARS LIKE A JET PLANE TAKING OFF, THE SPIN BEARING IS FAILING. PROBABLY, THE REAR SEAL HAS FAILED ALLOWING WATER TO GET INTO THE BEARING.
THE BEARING HAS LOST ITS LUBRICATION SO IT IS GETTING DRY. IT WILL CONTINUE TO GET LOUDER AND LOUDER THE LONGER REPAIRS ARE PUT OFF.
THE ENTIRE BACK HALF OF THE OUTER TUB WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE BEARING IS PART OF THAT ASSEMBLY. CAN BE A COSTLY REPAIR.
That's a great question, Roth!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire washer is making a loud noise during the spin cycle. This could be an issue with your bel, motor, or tub. In order to find the cause of your noise you may need to disassemble your washer. This is not a simple DIY job and I would recommend contacting a technician to come out. This will help prevent any future issues or personal injuries. -Matt
Hi,
When
my washer did that, I found that the shocks that hold the tub were
bad...
Check out this tip I wrote about the noise and
