Sometimes the power adapters on flat screens face the floor. So, if you look under the screen under the stand, you will likely see the plug.

jbriner is wrong. 3 computer whiz kids in my office couldn't figure this one out. This cord is not a "standard" power cord attachment that attaches to the back of the monitor.. It has an adapter and on the end of it is a small female attachment that pluts into the part of the VGA cord that you attach to your computer. The part that has the pins that slip into the computer. This part has a hole on the top (with a pin or post in it) that you plug the end of the adapter cord into. Most computer savy people cannot believe this is where you connect it.

I have had similar problems with my Mag LCD monitor. I recently dicovered that the problem was with the adapter and not the monitor. Try replacing the power adapter.

My apple mini mac (no intel) hook up mag monitor 780

The Mac Mini has an adapter plug, DVI to VGA.
If you use the adapter and a VGA cable to the monitor there is not a noticeable difference.

Just be sure to know the resolution maximums of the MAG monitor before you think its the Mac.

MAG 780 Innovations LCD Monitor

The plug end (to the monitor) is a partial square end with three top angles. That plugs into the back of the monitor. You can see the plug socket from the underside.

MAG Innovision LT765S Model 780 = no audio

If your monitor supports sound (might have to be the LT765s product?), there will be two inputs on the back (to the right when looking at it from the back). One's labeled "Line in." This is where you'd plug the audio cable from your sound card.

The socket for the AC power supply is located RIGHT ON the cord that plugs into your tower/graphics card. I just bought one today at the thrift store, ** power cord, but was looking for the input myself and found it there. Hope that helps.

Connections

you will have a mains lead with an electric kettle type connection on one end which plugs into the rear of the screen and another similar lead for the pc.

the video lead from the screen will plug into a small dovetailed shaped connector coloured blue on the rear of the computer ( it can only fit one way round , as its broader on one side than the other )

the speaker leads will probably be small jack plugs one for left and one for right, and they plug into the rear of the computer, audio out / left / right.
