Code F1 and F3

Eye level Electric oven Model FEB24S5ABB has started coming up with a code of F3. It most recently had a F1 code and was beeping when we returned home after being away for a while. Can anyone tell me what these codes mean?

F1 means there is a problem with the control board. F3 implies an issue with the temperature sensors. In your case, having the controller rebuilt or replacing it should fix both of your problems. These can be rebuilt quickly and reliable at a fraction of the cost of buying new. www.fixyourboard.com

My oven works sometimes and not others. I continue to get F3 code displayed, but can't figure out what it means. I have done everyting the manual says to do.

This indicates a failure in the temperature probe. This is easy to check and replace. Here is a link that should help Fault Code F1 F3 F9 Dr. If you need diagrams and illustrations of your specific model enter your model their. All parts come with installation instructions.

Oven beeps and show F1 and F3 while trying to cook or even 2hrs after cooking.

F1 code is a "EOC (Electronic Oven Control) failure" Replace your oven control

F3 code is a bad oven sensor the sensor should have a ohm reading of 1100 at room temp. Replace your oven sensor as well.

Nothing Works Shows F3 Error

the F3 error code is an oven temperature sensor fault. The sensor is a small probe that sticks out of the back of the oven wall. They do go bad and can be easily replaced. If I had your EXACT model number (found along the inside of the oven door or lower drawer) you can replace it.hope this helps

F2 and F3 code appearing along with annoying beeping

i think f3 error code has something to do with the temp probe maybe it is the problem. the temp probe is located if you open the door directly in the back wall. it looks like a prong. should read 1100ohms the f2 error code though usually has something to do with the keypad i would check all the connections maybe they are loose.

Getting an error code F1 and F3

F1,F3,F9 codes mean.
Electronic control has detected a fault condition. Turn the Temperature Control Knob to
OFF, and disconnect the power to the range. Wait 30 seconds and reconnect the power.
If fault recurs, disconnect the power and contact an authorized servicer.

Getting error code F1 and F3 on my matag oven... the darn thing keeps beeping too

f1 error code is a defective touch pad or control board.. the f3 error is a shorted temp sensor.. you might be better off just getting a new oven. check on price of parts first.
