Error 391: paper jam

I went to this link that offered how to unjam printer but can't find paper anywhere. http://www.c5200.co.uk/index.asp?menumode=2&content=30005000jam

It tells me to open front cover, but I don't see anything. Is there anywhere else to check or a way to reset? Thanks

Thank you for the response. I will try that. Oddly enough, it started running again but I'll try cleaning those rollers for extra measures. Thanks again!

I keep getting an error message about a paper jam for my printer but there is absolutely no paper jammed anywhere in the machine.

Have you tried a new toner cartridge, The toner cartridge has moving parts, and of the cartridge gets stuck, the printer may indicate a paper jam.

Also paper often tears when clearing jams, and the little shreds of paper can stay in the rollers of the printer and keep it jammed. Make sure to inspect all the rollers to make sure they move freely, and do not have anything stuck in them.

Error message

If looking into the paper feed there is no visible jamb, check the outside of the printer elsewhere. There is usually an access panel that comes off to manually remove any caught paper from behind where your paper loads to copy.

Error code 391 paper jam - no paper jam though. Open front cover and close and that resets machine but when you try to print error code 391 again!

Check the area where its showing the paper jam to see if there are bits of paper there. Most of these issues are caused by tiny pieces of paper blocking the sensors.

I had a paper jam,I unjamed it ,but the printer says that i still have a jam.

This error message is displayed by the printer when paper is jammed in one or more locations. In such a case, users are recommended to remove the jammed paper from the specified location. The entire paper path must be checked for any pieces of paper. To stop the message, open and close the top most cover of the printer. Lastly, verify the flags and the sensors. If the problem persists, the cause of the error message could be a broken sensor or sensor lever.

Okidata C6100 getting an error 391

It means paper jam in the 1st paper tray. Check above the pickup roller sometimes, paper will get jammed in there good.

I'm trying to replace black color cartridge, but get an error message: carrier jam How do I unjam it? Already did the unplug- check for paper jam and replug...no luck!

Remove all paper...(inspect closely for paper jammed way inside!)

also remove both ink cartriges, reinsert them one at a time carefully and properly....also double check the number code on the ink

the jam error could be either paper or cartriges confusing the printer. let me know if it works....k
