Blue screen our tv has only a blue screen no matter what device it's on. It still shows the device menu and all of the other menus but not what's playing through the direct tv or dvd player.

My ws-55311 shows blue screen on all inputs except the DTV input

This set has 3 hidden menus accessed with a different 4 digit number code----You need the Mitsubishi remote to enter.

One of them is the Option menu which will allow a hard reset of the TV back to factory original---98% of the time it will restore all inputs--cures all sorts of odd problems.

If you have that remote and want to try it let me know for sure the model number and I will give you a link to the instructions for doing it.

My screen is green and does not show a picture or sound! You cannot change the channel or access the menu! Is it the picture tube or lamp?

Can you see menus if you press the menu button? You could be set to the wrong input that doesn't have a signal coming in. I have one TV that shows a blank blue screen when I'm on an input that has no signal. If there is not a signal on the input being used you will also not have sound.

I have a tv that only shows variations of blue and yellow no matter what i do to the menu color options. However the menu will show all of the colors but not the normal screen.

it sounds like an rgb problem it depends what your playing thru your tv but if its coming thru a component lead eg red green and blue it sounds like your missing the red feature also it could be a pin bent on your scart which is carring the red portion of the picture , What kind of set is it and what are you playing thru it ?

Apex tv pf2030 child lock

I'm afraid you will need the original remote control hand unit folks. Apex TVs use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The override code for many models is 6688. Other sets may not have one, or may have a default code of 1225 instead of an override code.
  1. To use the override code:
  2. Hit the MENU key to get to the menus.
  3. Go down to the SYSTEM menu and hit the right arrow on the remote control.
  4. Once in the SYSTEM menu, go to PARENTAL GUIDE. It will ask for your code.
  5. Enter the override code listed above. From here, you can turn on and off different rating restrictions, as well as set a new code.
No matter what the V-chip code is set to, the override code will still work. If you have a blank screen with a red key on the bottom left, simply press the (function or F) button and the mute button at the same time. This will unlock the screen and allow you to view the channel as desired
